Description
The Scaled Composites White Knight Two is the twin-fuselage carrier aircraft designed by Burt Rutan to air-launch Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo. This highly detailed 3D model captures the vehicle’s distinctive catamaran-style twin-boom fuselage, swept wings, twin outrigger tail assemblies, and characteristic oval passenger windows along the central payload fuselage. Ideal for display models, aerospace enthusiasts, and scale diorama builders. Supplied as STL files ready for 3D printing.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for this large, complex airframe; split the twin-boom fuselage and wings into separate sections for best results. Orient each fuselage half horizontally along its long axis to minimize the need for supports on the cabin top and windows. Use supports for the wing-to-fuselage junctions and tail boom connections; a 20–30% infill in PLA or PETG will provide sufficient structural rigidity. Sand and glue the sub-assemblies after printing for a clean final display model.
