The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is an iconic WWII-era American heavy bomber operated by the United States Army Air Forces, faithfully reproduced here as a highly detailed multi-part 3D printable scale model. The kit captures the aircraft’s distinctive pressurized fuselage, four radial engines with four-blade propellers, bubble gun turrets, and large swept wings. Available in 1:72 and 1:144 scales, it is suitable for display modeling, dioramas, and aviation collections. Files are provided in STL format, print-tested in both PLA (FDM) and resin (SLA).
Print settings
This model has been print-tested in both FDM (PLA) and SLA (resin) technologies. For FDM printing, orient the fuselage halves flat on the bed, use supports for the engine nacelles and propeller assemblies, and set infill to 15–20% with 2–3 perimeter walls. Resin printing is recommended for the finest detail on the cockpit glazing, turrets, and propeller blades. Sand and prime before painting for best results on the panel line detail.
