Description
The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is a large strategic military transport aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force and allied nations worldwide. This highly detailed 3D printable model captures the aircraft’s distinctive high-wing layout, four turbofan engines, T-tail configuration, and multi-bogie landing gear with great accuracy. Two model versions are included: a clean hull version and a windowed/lights version with cockpit and fuselage details. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing at your preferred display scale.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for larger display scales (1:72 or bigger); resin printing is advised for smaller scales to preserve fine engine nacelle and landing gear detail. Print the fuselage horizontally with the belly facing down to minimise supports on the upper surfaces; wings may need separate orientation. Light supports are required under the engine pylons, landing gear assemblies, and horizontal stabiliser. An infill of 15–20% with a 0.15–0.2 mm layer height is sufficient for a solid display model.
