Description
The Rockwell B-1B Lancer is a supersonic variable-sweep wing strategic bomber operated by the United States Air Force, famously nicknamed ‘The Bone’. This highly detailed multi-part 3D printable model captures the aircraft’s iconic blended fuselage, swing wings, landing gear, engine nacelles, and even a detailed cockpit interior. Available in 1:144 and 1:250 scales, it is designed for FDM and SLA/resin printing with separate components for optimal print quality. Files are provided in STL format, print-tested in both PLA and resin.
Print settings
SLA resin printing is strongly recommended for the smaller 1:250 scale to preserve fine surface details such as panel lines, cockpit instrumentation, and landing gear struts. For the 1:144 scale, FDM with a 0.2 mm layer height and 15–20% infill is sufficient for the main fuselage and wing sections. Print wings and tail surfaces flat to minimise warping; use light supports only on the landing gear assemblies and engine exhausts. PLA or PETG are suitable materials for FDM; standard photopolymer resin for SLA.
