Description
The Bombardier TRAXX is a highly versatile European electric locomotive widely used across multiple rail networks. This highly detailed 3D model captures the characteristic cab shape, pantograph, roof-mounted equipment, bogies, and all major surface details from every angle. Two versions are included: a solid shell variant and a windowed/lights version with open cab glazing. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing at your preferred scale.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for the main body; resin printing is advised for the pantograph and fine undercarriage details. Print the body horizontally on its side to minimise support use and preserve surface panel detail. Use supports for the pantograph assembly and any overhanging cab features. Recommended infill 15–20% with a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height for best surface quality; PLA or PETG suit the main shell.
