The Siemens Vectron is a modern multi-system electric locomotive widely used across European rail networks. This highly detailed 3D model captures the characteristic cab design, roof-mounted pantographs, underframe bogies, and all major surface details of the Vectron platform. Available in two versions — solid and windowed/lights — it is ideal for scale model printing, dioramas, and railway enthusiasts. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing is recommended for the finest detail on pantographs, bogie assemblies, and underframe components. For FDM, print the body upright with the cab facing up and use supports under the pantograph arms and underframe protrusions. An infill of 20–30% is sufficient for the main shell; print smaller roof details separately if needed. PETG or PLA works well for the body; resin (standard or ABS-like) is preferred for fine roof and underframe parts.
