Siemens Vectron Electric Locomotive V2 STL 3D Print Model

The Siemens Vectron is a modern multi-system electric locomotive widely used across European railway networks, and this highly detailed V2 3D model captures it with exceptional fidelity. The model includes a fully detailed roof with pantographs, insulators, and high-voltage equipment, as well as detailed bogies, underframe, and cab interiors visible through the windshield. Two versions are included: a solid model and a windowed/lights variant for maximum versatility. Provided in STL format, it is suitable for scale model display, dioramas, or train layout miniatures.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended due to the extreme surface detail on the pantographs, roof equipment, bogie assemblies, and underframe. Orient the body horizontally with the roof facing up to minimize support contact on visible surfaces. The pantograph arms and thin roof wiring will require careful support placement and post-processing. FDM is feasible for the main body shell but will not reproduce fine roof and bogie details adequately. Use a high-quality resin and print at 0.05 mm layer height for best results.
