Description
The Volkswagen Passat Variant 2020 is a full-size European estate/wagon featuring detailed exterior bodywork, multi-spoke alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, and a fully modelled interior with seats, steering wheel, and dashboard. This high-detail 3D model is ideal for scale display prints, dioramas, or hobbyist collectors. Two versions are included: one with transparent windows and light housings, and one solid shell variant. Files are provided in STL format ready for slicing.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for the solid shell version at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height with 15–20% infill; resin printing is preferred for the detailed windowed version to capture fine interior and light details. Print the body orientated upright or at a slight angle to minimise support contact on the roof and hood surfaces. Supports are required under the front bumper lower grille, wheel arches, and side mirrors. PLA or ABS are suitable materials for the exterior shell; MSLA/DLP resin is advised for the interior-visible version.
