DeLorean DMC-12 Back to the Future STL 3D Print Model

The DeLorean DMC-12 Time Machine BTTF is the iconic time-traveling car from the Back to the Future film trilogy, faithfully reproduced as a highly detailed 3D print model. The model features the full flux capacitor reactor assembly on the rear, Mr. Fusion unit on the engine lid, time circuits dashboard, gull-wing doors, hood-mounted equipment, intricate interior cockpit with steering wheel and gauges, and the distinctive honeycomb thrust vents at the back. Multiple render views are included — front, rear, side, top, interior, and a windowed/lights alternate version — making it ideal for display models, dioramas, or fan collectibles. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine surface details on the flux capacitor assembly, dashboard instruments, wiring, and thrust vents. If printing with FDM, use a 0.2 mm or smaller nozzle, 20–30% infill, and tree supports to protect the rear fins and roof-mounted equipment. Orient the car body flat on the build plate for best surface quality on the hood and roof. PLA or ABS work well for FDM; grey or white resin will best showcase the sculptural detail before painting.
