Description
The Porsche 919 Hybrid is a championship-winning LMP1 hybrid prototype racer that dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2015 to 2017. This highly detailed 3D model captures the full bodywork including the distinctive closed cockpit canopy, front splitter, side pods, complex rear diffuser and multi-element rear wing assembly. Ideal for display models, dioramas or motorsport collectibles, the file is provided in STL format ready for slicing. Scale freely to suit standard 1:24, 1:18 or desktop display sizes.
Print settings
FDM printing is feasible at 0.1–0.15 mm layer height with supports enabled for the overhanging rear wing planes, diffuser fins and front splitter lips. Orient the main body flat on the bed (roof down) to maximise surface quality on the visible upper surfaces. Recommended infill 15–20% for structural integrity without excessive weight; use PLA or PETG for body panels. Resin printing (MSLA/SLA) is strongly recommended for the finer aero details such as mirror stalks, canopy vents and diffuser elements to achieve clean, support-mark-free results.
