Description
The McLaren P1 GTR 2015 James Hunt Edition is one of the most extreme and exclusive track-only hypercars ever built, here faithfully reproduced as a highly detailed 3D printable model. The model captures every distinctive feature of this legendary machine: the massive rear wing with twin endplates, aggressive front splitter, intricate side aerodynamic channels, dihedral doors, twin-exit exhaust system, and a fully modelled interior including roll cage, racing seats and steering wheel. Two versions are included — an open cabin version and a windowed/lights version — making it versatile for display or diorama use. Files are provided in STL format, ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing is strongly recommended to faithfully reproduce the fine aerodynamic details, the multi-element rear wing, and the intricate exhaust and diffuser geometry. If printing with FDM, orient the body with the roof upward and use supports for the rear wing, side skirts, and front splitter. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display purposes; increase to 30–40% if structural stiffness is required. PETG or PLA are suitable materials for FDM; standard or ABS-like resin for SLA/MSLA.
