Description
The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1970 is one of the most iconic American muscle cars ever produced, and this highly detailed 3D model captures every aspect of the original with exceptional fidelity. The model includes a fully detailed exterior with SS badging, twin hood stripes, and period-correct Polyglas GT tires on five-spoke rally wheels, as well as a complete interior featuring bucket seats, wood-rimmed steering wheel, and full dashboard instrumentation. The underside is fully modeled with chassis rails, exhaust system, and suspension components, making it suitable for display models, scale collecting, and diorama use at 1:64, 1:24, or 1:18 scales. All files are provided in STL format ready for 3D printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine surface detail, panel lines, SS badging, and interior instrumentation visible in the renders. Print the body shell upright or at a slight angle with well-placed supports under the front bumper, door handles, and mirror; thin chassis components should be printed flat. For FDM printing at larger scales (1:18), use a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height, 4 perimeters, and 20–30% infill; ABS or ASA will resist warping better than PLA for large flat panels. The model is supplied as separate parts (body, chassis, interior, wheels, glass, bumpers, trim pieces) so each component can be optimised and printed individually.
