Description

The McDonnell Douglas T-45 Goshawk is a carrier-capable jet trainer used by the United States Navy and Marine Corps, derived from the British Aerospace Hawk. This highly detailed 3D model features an open cockpit with interior detail, deployed tricycle landing gear, nose pitot probe, engine exhaust nozzle, and wing-mounted hardpoints. Available in two versions — one with canopy and one without (windowed/lights variant) — it is ideal for scale modelling, display dioramas, or tabletop use. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture fine cockpit interior, landing gear struts, and surface panel details. If printing with FDM, orient the fuselage horizontally and use supports under the wings, landing gear, and canopy frames. Suggested infill 20–30% with 2–3 perimeter walls for structural parts. Print the landing gear components separately at reduced scale for best results; thin parts such as the pitot tube and gun barrels may benefit from resin or metal substitution.
