BMW 3 Series E46 Compact STL 3D Print Model

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for capturing the fine surface details such as the kidney grille slats, headlight bezels, and exhaust tips at scales of 1:24 or smaller; FDM is suitable for larger display scales (1:18 or above). Print the body in an upright or slight rear-tilted orientation to minimize support contact on the hood and roof surfaces. Use light supports on the underbody, mirrors, and front bumper lower intake area. A 20–25% infill with a 0.1–0.12 mm layer height will yield a smooth finish; standard PLA or ABS works well for FDM, while standard grey or white resin is ideal for painting and finishing.
