ZIL-157 Military Truck STL 3D Print Model

The ZIL-157 is a Soviet 6×6 all-wheel-drive military cargo truck produced from 1958, widely used by the Red Army for troop and supply transport across rough terrain. This highly detailed multi-part STL model captures the iconic rounded cab, protective headlight guards, slatted cargo bed with drop sides, and the characteristic triple rear axle configuration. Designed for scale modeling at 1:24 and 1:35, the exploded-view breakdown reveals a fully modeled interior, chassis, drivetrain, and individual body panels for maximum assembly flexibility. Print settings

FDM printing with PLA is recommended for larger scale (1:24) parts such as the chassis frame, cargo bed, and cab shell, using 20–30% infill and supports where needed for the cab overhang and fender arches. For 1:35 scale or fine detail parts (headlight guards, wheel hubs, interior), SLA/MSLA resin printing is strongly advised to preserve surface quality. Print tyres lying flat for best tread detail; orient cab sections upright with a brim for adhesion. The model is supplied as separate components, so no single print requires excessive support structures.
