Volkswagen W12 Nardo Coupe Concept STL 3D Print Model

The Volkswagen W12 Nardo Coupe Concept is a legendary 2001 mid-engine concept car developed by Volkswagen to showcase its W12 powertrain, famously setting speed records at the Nardo ring. This highly detailed 3D model captures the aggressive low-slung bodywork, distinctive multi-element greenhouse structure, quad exhausts, and fully modelled interior with roll cage and engine bay. Available in two versions — open canopy with full interior detail and a closed windowed variant — it is ideal for display printing at scales from 1:18 to 1:43. Files are provided in STL format ready for slicing.

Print settings

Due to the complex canopy structure and open interior, resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for the finest surface detail on the cabin frame and exhaust clusters. For FDM printing, orient the body belly-down with the nose slightly elevated and use tree supports under the canopy rails and wheel arches. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display models; use 0.1–0.2 mm layer height for exterior panels. PLA or ABS work well for the body; consider clear or translucent resin for the windscreen elements.
