Description
The Sandvik TH663i is a low-profile underground articulated mining truck designed for hard-rock mining operations in confined tunnel environments. This highly detailed 3D model captures the characteristic articulated frame, dual rear axle with tandem wheels, open ROPS cab with safety railings, front engine bay with grille mesh, and large dump body — available in two versions: standard open cab and windowed/lights variant. Ideal for scale display models, mining simulation dioramas, or industrial visualization at approximately 1:50 scale. Supplied as ready-to-print STL files in a single ZIP archive.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height using PLA or PETG for structural integrity. Print the cab and dump body in their natural upright orientation; the articulated frame section and axle components may require light supports. The tandem rear wheels and hydraulic cylinders are best printed separately and assembled after printing. An infill of 20–30% is sufficient for display purposes; increase to 40% or higher if structural strength is needed.
