Renault GBC 180 6×6 Military Cargo Truck STL 3D Print Model

The Renault GBC 180 is a French Army 6×6 military cargo truck widely used by the Armée de Terre from the 1950s through the 1990s. This highly detailed multi-part 3D model features a fully modeled cab, canvas-covered cargo bed, dual rear axle with off-road tires, chassis underside, and period-accurate details such as the front grille, headlights, and rear tow hooks. Available in 1:24 and 1:35 scale, it is ideal for dioramas, tabletop wargaming, and scale modeling enthusiasts. Files are provided in STL format, print-tested in both FDM (PLA) and resin (SLA) technologies.

Print settings

FDM printing is recommended for larger scale parts (1:24) using PLA or PETG at 0.15–0.2 mm layer height with 20–30% infill; resin (SLA/MSLA) is strongly advised for the 1:35 scale to preserve fine surface detail on the grille, tires, and canvas folds. Parts such as the cab, cargo bed frame, and wheels should be printed separately and oriented to minimize visible layer lines on outer surfaces. Supports are required for the cab underside, wheel arches, and canvas canopy overhangs. Light sanding and priming before painting will significantly improve the final finish.
