The Mercedes-Benz L1500A is a WWII-era German light 4×4 military personnel carrier produced in the early 1940s for the Wehrmacht. This highly detailed 3D model is presented in multiple configurations: closed canvas-top troop carrier, open-top staff car variant, and a fully exposed interior version showing the dashboard, steering wheel, bench seats, and undercarriage. The model is suitable for 1:35 or 1:72 scale dioramas, tabletop wargaming, or display printing. Files are provided in STL format, optimized for high-detail resin or FDM printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine surface details such as the louvered hood, Mercedes three-pointed star ornaments, canvas texture, and riveted body panels. If printing in FDM, orient the body flat on the bed and use supports under the fenders, axles, and windshield frame. An infill of 20–30% is sufficient for structural parts; print at 0.1 mm layer height for best detail. PLA or ABS are suitable materials for FDM; for resin, standard grey or beige hobby resin will highlight the sculpted surface detail.
