Liebherr R 9400 Mining Shovel Excavator STL 3D Print Model

The Liebherr R 9400 is a large hydraulic mining shovel excavator rendered in exceptional detail for 3D printing enthusiasts and scale modelers. This model captures the massive crawler undercarriage, multi-section boom with hydraulic cylinders and hose bundles, heavy-duty mining bucket with tooth bar, wraparound service platforms, stairways, and the distinctive engine enclosure with exhaust stacks. Two versions are included: a standard cab-less variant and a windowed/lights version with full cab glazing. Provided as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing at your preferred scale.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to faithfully reproduce the fine hydraulic hoses, lattice walkways, track links, and bucket teeth visible throughout the model. If printing in FDM, use a 0.2 mm layer height, 15–20% infill, and enable supports for the boom arm, stick, underside of platforms, and bucket assembly. Orient the main body flat on the bed and print the boom, stick, and bucket as separate pieces for best results. PLA or ABS are suitable for FDM; water-washable or standard resin for MSLA.
