Description
The Chevrolet Corvette C7-R 2017 is the factory-backed GT Le Mans racing variant of the seventh-generation Corvette, developed by Chevrolet Racing and campaigned in IMSA and WEC competition. Based on the production C7 Stingray platform, it features a bespoke race-tuned 5.5-litre V8 and full GT-class bodywork optimized for endurance racing. This high-detail 3D printable model is ideal for display builds, dioramas, and scale modelling at standard 1:24 or 1:18 proportions. Files are provided in STL format, ready to slice and print on FDM or resin printers.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for capturing fine surface and bodywork details; FDM on a well-tuned printer at 0.1–0.15 mm layer height is also viable for larger scales. Orient the body shell upside down to minimize support scarring on visible surfaces, and use tree supports on overhanging aerodynamic elements such as the splitter and rear wing. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display pieces; increase to 30–40% if structural sub-assemblies are glued together. PLA or PETG work well for FDM; water-washable or standard ABS-like resin for MSLA builds.
