Description
The Caterpillar D11 is one of the largest and most powerful track-type bulldozers ever built, and this highly detailed 3D print model captures its iconic massive blade, twin exhaust stacks, and multi-shank rear ripper with exceptional accuracy. The model includes two cab versions — an armored/windowless variant and a windowed/lights version — along with a full undercarriage featuring individually detailed track links, drive sprockets, and road wheels. Designed for scale display, dioramas, or tabletop use, it suits both FDM and resin printing depending on the desired detail level. Supplied as STL files ready for slicing, packaged in Tracked-Dozer.zip.
Print settings
For FDM printing, orient the main body upright or at a slight angle to minimize support contact on the blade face; use supports for the exhaust stacks, hydraulic cylinders, and ripper assembly. Recommended infill 20–30% with a 0.15–0.2 mm layer height for exterior parts and 0.1 mm for fine detail pieces such as track links and sprockets. PLA or PETG work well for structural parts; resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for the track links, ripper teeth, and cab interior to preserve fine surface detail. Print track links in batches and assemble after printing.
