Description
The Claas Lexion 8900TT is a large tracked combine harvester featuring Terra Trac front crawler units and large rear steering wheels, faithfully reproduced as a highly detailed 3D print model. The model includes a removable 12-row corn header (cornhead) with individual row dividers and snapping rolls, a grain tank with unloading auger, rear straw chopper deflector, and full cab interior visible through the optional windowed version. Two model variants are included: a solid-shell version and a windowed/lights version with transparent cab geometry. Provided in STL format, it is suitable for scale display models, dioramas, agricultural machinery collections, and tabletop use at approximately 1:32 or 1:64 scale depending on print size.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for full-size display builds; resin (MSLA/SLA) is ideal for capturing fine surface detail on the header row dividers, cab interior, and track assemblies. Print the main body upright and the cornhead flat on the bed with moderate supports on the row dividers and auger tube. Recommended infill: 15–20% gyroid for the body; 30% for structural sub-parts. Use PLA or PETG for FDM; standard grey resin works well for resin prints. The windowed cab version may require careful support placement around the glazing openings to avoid stringing.
