Description
The Case IH 8800 is a large self-propelled sugar cane harvester designed for industrial-scale agriculture, featuring twin base-cutter augers, a topper chopper, an elevator conveyor with discharge spout, and a side extractor arm. This highly detailed 3D model captures the crawler undercarriage, operator cab, hydraulic systems, ladders, and all major mechanical assemblies from every angle. Two model versions are included: a standard version and a windowed/lights version for enhanced realism. Supplied as STL files ready for 3D printing, the model is ideal for dioramas, agricultural scale models, and display purposes.
Print settings
Due to the machine’s extreme complexity and numerous fine details, resin printing (MSLA/DLP) at 0.05 mm layer height is strongly recommended for the smaller components such as the augers, elevator frame, and extractor arm. FDM printing (0.1–0.15 mm layer height, 15–20% infill, PLA or PETG) is suitable for the larger body panels and crawler tracks. Print the elevator boom and base-cutter arms separately and orient them flat to minimise supports. The crawler track sections should be printed in their natural horizontal orientation with supports enabled under overhanging link detail.
