Print settings

FDM printing is suitable for larger scales (1:18 or bigger) using PLA or ABS with a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height for surface detail; resin (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for smaller scales to preserve fine bodywork lines and diffuser geometry. Orient the body shell upside down to minimize supports on exterior surfaces. Use supports for underfloor and wheel arch overhangs; an infill of 15–20% is sufficient for a display model. Sand and prime the FDM print before painting to achieve a smooth finish consistent with the vehicle’s sleek profile.
