The Porsche Boxster GTS 2015 is the high-performance open-top variant of the 981-generation Boxster, featuring a more powerful naturally aspirated flat-six engine and sport-tuned chassis. This detailed 3D printable model is ideal for scale display builds, dioramas, and automotive enthusiasts looking to recreate one of Porsche’s most celebrated roadsters. The model is supplied as an STL file, compatible with all major slicing software for FDM and resin printers. Note: although the folder references ‘718’, the 2015 model year corresponds to the 981-generation Boxster GTS, predating the 718 rename introduced in 2016.
Print settings
FDM printing is suitable for larger display scales (1:18 or bigger) using PLA or PETG; resin (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for finer detail at smaller scales such as 1:24 or 1:43. Print the body shell oriented upright or at a slight rear angle to minimize visible layer lines on the hood and flanks, using supports only where overhangs exceed 45°. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display purposes; increase to 30–40% if functional assembly or post-processing is intended. Light sanding and primer are advised before painting to achieve a smooth automotive finish.
