Description
The Mazda RX-8 VeilSide D1-GT Tokyo Drift is the iconic wide-body sports car made famous by the 2006 film Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, here rendered as a highly detailed 3D printable model posed upside-down to showcase every surface. The model features the full VeilSide Combat Evolution body kit with aggressive front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and custom five-spoke wheels, plus detailed undercarriage with driveshaft tunnel and suspension components. Available in two variants — windowless/open cabin and windowed/lights version — making it ideal for display dioramas, scale collectors, and film prop replicas. Supplied as STL files ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine body-kit edges, splitter struts, and wheel spoke detail; FDM at 0.1 mm layer height can work for larger scales. Print the body in the upside-down pose as modelled to minimise supports on panel lines; add tree supports under the front splitter brackets and rear diffuser fins. Recommended infill 15–20 % with 2–3 perimeters for shell strength. PLA or ABS for FDM; standard grey resin for display purposes.
