Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren STL 3D Print Model

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a high-performance supercar jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive, produced from 2003 to 2010, and this highly detailed 3D model captures the iconic 2004 version with its aggressive long hood, distinctive side vents, rear diffuser, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The model is presented upside-down in the renders to showcase the full undercarriage detail, including suspension geometry, exhaust layout, and underbody aerodynamics, alongside a windowed/lights variant for added realism. Ideal for scale display models, automotive dioramas, or collector pieces, the file is provided in STL format ready for slicing. Both a windowless interior version and a full windowed/lights version are included in the package.

Print settings

FDM printing is suitable for larger scale builds (1:18 or bigger) with 0.1–0.2 mm layer height and 20–30% infill; resin (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for smaller scales to preserve the fine surface details on the body panels, vents, and wheel spokes. Print the body shell in its natural upright orientation (roof down) for best surface quality on visible panels; use light tree supports on the undercarriage details if printing in resin. PLA or PETG work well for FDM; grey or white resin aids in inspecting surface quality before painting.
