Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine pipe geometry and surface detail of the exhaust headers and ancillaries. If printing with FDM, orient the engine block flat on its widest face and add supports under the exhaust pipes and overhanging brackets. Use a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height, 20–30% infill with gyroid pattern, and consider splitting the model into sub-assemblies for cleaner results. Post-processing with primer and metallic paint will greatly enhance the finished appearance.
