Description
The Chevrolet Suburban 1989 is a highly detailed full-scale 3D printable model of the iconic GMT400/Square Body generation full-size SUV, faithfully reproduced with interior, engine bay, chassis, suspension, and underbody components. The model is presented as a multi-part assembly optimized for scale model kits at 1:18 and 1:24, with every panel, trim piece, and mechanical detail carefully separated for clean printing. All parts have been tested in both PLA (FDM) and SLA resin workflows. Files are provided in STL format, ready to slice and print.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for larger structural parts such as the body shell, chassis rails, and interior tub, using PLA or PETG at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height with 15–20% infill. Resin (SLA/MSLA) is strongly advised for fine detail parts such as the engine, grille, badges, dash, and suspension components. Most body panels should be printed vertically or at a slight angle to minimize visible layer lines; add supports under door mirrors, bumpers, and small brackets. Sand and prime before painting for best results.
