Siemens Vectron MRCE Electric Locomotive STL 3D Print Model

The Siemens Vectron MRCE is a modern European multi-system electric locomotive widely used across international rail networks, here presented as a highly detailed STL 3D printable model. The model features an accurately shaped carbody with two driver’s cabs, pantographs, roof-mounted high-voltage equipment, detailed bogies with brake rigging, and underframe components. Multiple angle renders — including front, rear, lateral, top, and underside views — confirm the exceptional level of mechanical detail throughout. Two model versions are included: a standard solid version and a windowed/lights version with glazed cab windows, suitable for display, dioramas, or scale model collections.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine roof-mounted wiring, pantograph arms, and bogie detail. Print the main body upright or at a slight angle with well-placed supports under the cab overhangs and roof equipment. The bogies and pantograph assemblies should be printed separately and glued after cleaning. For FDM printing, use a layer height of 0.1 mm or finer and standard PLA or PETG; note that very fine details such as pantograph arms may require resin for best results.
