Description
The Ferrari 250 GTO Series I is one of the most iconic and valuable racing grand tourers ever built, produced by Ferrari in 1962. This highly detailed 3D print model captures every signature feature of the original: the distinctive triple-nostril front grille, recessed headlight fairings, side vents, wire-spoke wheels, and the quad exhaust pipes exiting below the rear bumper. The model is provided in STL format, suitable for both display scale models and larger collector prints. Six orthographic clay-render views are included to guide assembly and finishing.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for larger display scales (1:18 or bigger) using PLA or PETG with a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height for smooth body surfaces. Resin (MSLA/SLA) is strongly advised for smaller scales or to preserve fine details such as the wire wheels, exhaust pipes, and front grille openings. Print the body shell horizontally on its belly to minimize scarring on visible surfaces; add light supports under the front overhang, side mirrors, and exhaust cluster. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display purposes.
