Description
The aircraft jet engine turbine rotor v2 is a highly detailed multi-stage axial turbine rotor assembly modeled after real turbofan/turbojet engine internal architecture. The model features multiple compressor and turbine disk stages mounted on a central shaft, with accurately profiled aerodynamic blades and dovetail blade roots visible on each stage. Ideal for display models, educational cutaway dioramas, aviation enthusiasts, and scale modelers at any desired print size. Supplied as STL files inside a ZIP archive ready for slicing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine blade geometry, thin trailing edges, and dovetail root details. Orient each disk stage face-down with the shaft horizontal to minimise support contact on blade surfaces; use light tree supports on blade tips only. For FDM, print at 0.1 mm layer height with a minimum 20% gyroid infill and enable slow perimeter speeds to preserve blade edge sharpness. PLA or ABS are suitable materials; avoid flexible filaments.
