Print settings

SLA resin printing is strongly recommended for smaller parts such as cam gears, intake trumpets, and pipe clamps to capture fine surface detail at 1:18 scale; FDM PLA is suitable for larger structural parts like the block, intercooler body, and gearbox casing at 1:10 scale. Orient pipe and hose parts at 45° to minimise support contact marks on visible surfaces. Use 4–6 perimeters and 20–30% infill for structural parts; resin parts can be printed solid or at 2–3 mm wall thickness with drain holes. Light sanding and primer before painting is recommended to achieve the black, purple, and chrome finish shown.
