The T17E1 Staghound Mk.I is a British-used American-built four-wheeled armoured reconnaissance car that saw extensive service during World War II. This highly detailed 3D model captures the vehicle’s distinctive features including the cylindrical turret with QF 37mm gun, large off-road tyres, armoured hull, side-mounted spare fuel drum, rear exhaust pipes, and full surface rivet and hatch details. Ideal for scale modelling, dioramas, wargaming miniatures, and tabletop gaming at various scales. Supplied in STL format ready for FDM or resin 3D printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for capturing fine surface details such as rivets, hatch hinges, and turret bolt rings. For FDM, orient the hull flat on the bed and print the turret separately; use supports under wheel arches, mudguards, and the gun barrel. Suggested infill 20–30% with 2–3 perimeter walls for structural integrity. PLA or ABS suitable for FDM; standard grey resin for detail-critical parts.
