Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank STL 3D Print Model

The Challenger 2 MBT is the iconic British main battle tank introduced in 1998, operated by the British Army and renowned for its Chobham composite armour and rifled L30A1 120mm gun. This highly detailed 3D model captures the full vehicle including turret, road wheels, tracks, reactive armour panels, commander’s sight, antennas and rear engine grilles. The model is provided as separate components (hull, turret, gun, running gear) making it ideal for scale modelling, dioramas or display at 1:35, 1:24 or 1:18 scale. Files are delivered in STL format ready for FDM or resin printing.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for the finest detail on track links, bolt heads and antenna assemblies; FDM is viable for larger-scale prints at 1:18 or above with a 0.2 mm nozzle. Print the hull and turret flat on their bases without supports where possible; the gun barrel and antennas should be oriented vertically or at a shallow angle with light tree supports. Suggested infill 20–30% with 3–4 perimeter walls for structural strength. PLA or ABS work well for FDM; grey or beige resin gives the best painting surface for military finishes.
