Volkswagen Passat B2 Hatchback STL 3D Print Model

The Volkswagen Passat B2 is a classic 1980s European sedan/hatchback faithfully reproduced as a detailed multi-part STL model ready for 3D printing. The kit includes the full body shell with open hood and detailed engine bay, two wheels with rims and tires, steering wheel, dashboard assembly, floor panel, and additional interior components — all presented in separate printable pieces. Designed for scale model enthusiasts and collectors, this model captures the characteristic boxy lines, rectangular grille, and VW badging of the second-generation Passat. Print settings

FDM printing is recommended for larger body panels; resin (MSLA/DLP) will yield sharper detail on smaller parts such as the steering wheel, engine components, and wheel hubs. Print the body shell upright or at a slight angle with supports on wheel arch overhangs and door openings. Use 0.1–0.2 mm layer height, 20–30% infill for structural parts, and 3–4 perimeters for shell rigidity. PLA or ABS works well for the body; consider flexible filament for tires if your printer allows it.
