Description
The Fendt IDEAL 9T is a large high-capacity tracked combine harvester equipped with a multi-row corn header, represented here as a highly detailed 3D print model. The model captures the machine’s distinctive hybrid undercarriage — rubber track system on the front axle and large pneumatic rear wheels — along with the grain tank, unloading auger, engine louvers, access ladder, and a fully detailed operator cab with interior elements. Two versions are included: a solid-body variant and a windowed/lights version showing cab glazing and lighting details. Provided in STL format, this model is suitable for scale display builds, dioramas, tabletop gaming, and agricultural machinery enthusiasts.
Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for the main body using PLA or PETG at 0.15–0.2 mm layer height; resin printing (MSLA) is advised for small intricate parts such as the corn header snouts, auger spirals, and cab interior details. Print the main chassis and body panels flat or at a slight angle to minimize visible layer lines on curved surfaces. Supports are required under the unloading auger arm, the access ladder, and the underside of the cab overhang. An infill of 15–20% is sufficient for display purposes; increase to 30%+ if structural durability is needed.
