Description

The F1 2022 Concept Prototype is a highly detailed fan-made Formula 1 race car concept model inspired by the 2022 F1 regulation era, featuring the characteristic ground-effect bodywork, halo cockpit protection, 18-inch wheel arches, and complex multi-element front and rear wings. The model showcases an incredibly intricate mesh with sculpted sidepods, diffuser, suspension geometry, and aerodynamic appendages faithfully reproduced across all angles. Ideal for display purposes, dioramas, or collector showcases at any chosen scale, the file is delivered in STL format ready for slicing. The final colored render shows a fictional ‘Quantum Tech’ livery in blue and yellow, number 11, giving a vivid sense of the finished printed and painted result.

Print settings

Due to the extreme aerodynamic complexity — thin wing elements, delicate front wing endplates, exposed suspension arms, and fine halo structure — resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for best detail fidelity. If printed in FDM, use a 0.1–0.15 mm layer height, enable supports for all overhanging wing planes and the front nose cone underside, and orient the chassis horizontally. An infill of 20–30% is sufficient for display models; PETG or PLA+ are suitable materials, while ABS may warp on the long body. Consider splitting the front and rear wings as separate prints for easier support removal and cleaner results.
