Print settings
FDM printing is recommended for larger assemblies; resin (MSLA/DLP) is ideal for capturing fine surface details such as bolt heads, ribbing and piping. Print individual sub-components separately and orient flat mating faces down to minimise supports. Use 20–30% infill with a shell count of at least 3 for structural rigidity; PLA or ABS are suitable materials. Light sanding and grey/silver primer will enhance the metallic appearance of the finished model.
