Description
Highly detailed 3D printable model of the AgustaWestland AW101 (Merlin) helicopter in Royal Navy livery, featuring a five-blade main rotor, characteristic triple-engine nacelle, and accurate fuselage panel detail. Available in 1:48 and 1:72 scale as a multi-part assembly for maximum print quality and detail. Supplied as a ZIP archive containing all individual parts ready to slice. Print-tested in both PLA (FDM) and SLA resin for verified results.
Print settings
This multi-part model has been print-tested in PLA and SLA resin. For FDM printing, orient fuselage halves flat on the bed and use supports under the rotor hub and landing gear stubs; 20–30% infill with 3 perimeters is recommended for structural integrity. Resin (SLA/MSLA) is strongly recommended for small-scale parts such as rotor blades, tail rotor, and fine surface details to achieve crisp panel lines. Rotor blades should be printed flat to minimise warping. Post-cure all resin parts before assembly.
