The Chevrolet SS 2017 NASCAR is the race-prepared version of Chevrolet’s rear-wheel-drive sedan that competed in the NASCAR Cup Series until it was replaced by the Camaro ZL1. This model recreates the aerodynamic body and stock car proportions used on superspeedways and short tracks alike. It is designed as a static display piece for scale model builders and motorsport enthusiasts, ideal for 1:24 or 1:64 collections. The kit is provided as an STL file ready for slicing and 3D printing.
Print settings
Recommended for resin printing to achieve the smooth body panels and sharp decal lines typical of stock car liveries, though FDM with a fine nozzle can also work for larger scales. Orient the body shell with the roofline as the main support contact point to minimize visible supports on the panels. Use medium infill (15-20%) for structural parts like the chassis, and light supports on the splitter, spoiler, and mirrors. Sand and prime before painting to achieve a smooth racing finish.
