Description
The Mazda RX-7 FD3S Origin Lab Aero Kit is a highly detailed 3D printable body kit designed for the iconic third-generation Mazda RX-7 (FD3S), featuring the aggressive wide-body aero components produced by Origin Lab (also known as Labo in the JDM tuning scene). This model captures the full aftermarket exterior kit used to transform the FD3S into a full-on drift and time-attack style machine. Suitable for display scale models, diorama builds, or RC shell projects, it comes as STL files ready for standard slicing software. The file set is compatible with both FDM and resin printing workflows.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is recommended for the finer aero panel details such as lip edges, canards, and vents; FDM with a 0.2 mm layer height can handle larger body panels adequately. Enable supports for overhanging edges and undercut features, particularly on front splitters and rear diffuser sections. Infill of 20–30% is sufficient for display purposes; orient flat panels parallel to the build plate to minimize layer lines. PLA or ABS works well for FDM; standard or ABS-like resin for finer parts.
