MD Helicopters MH-6 Little Bird SOAR STL 3D Print Model

Highly detailed 3D printable model of the MD Helicopters MH-6 Little Bird as operated by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR). The set includes the helicopter body with characteristic egg-shaped cockpit, four-blade main rotor, NOTAR tail system, skid landing gear, and three fully equipped operator figures seated on the external bench platforms. Ideal for dioramas, tabletop gaming, or display models at approximately 1:18–1:35 scale. Files are provided in ZIP format containing print-ready STL/OBJ meshes.

Print settings

Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended to capture the fine surface riveting, figure details, and weapon accessories. Print helicopter body panels in their natural flat orientation to minimize support scarring on visible surfaces; rotor blades benefit from a slight angled orientation to reduce warping. Figures should be printed upright with light tree supports on extremities. For FDM, use a 0.1–0.2 mm layer height with 20–30% infill; ABS or ASA preferred for larger structural parts to reduce brittleness.
