Print settings

FDM printing is recommended for most structural parts using PLA or PETG at 0.15–0.2 mm layer height; resin (MSLA) is strongly advised for fine-detail parts such as turbo housings, pipes, and fittings. Orient complex curved components (intake runners, exhaust manifold) diagonally to minimize stair-stepping and reduce support contact on visible surfaces. Use supports on overhanging pipes and turbocharger inlets; tree supports work well for isolated protrusions. An infill of 20–30% is sufficient for display purposes.
