BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution STL 3D Print Model

The BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution is the iconic homologation special that defined an era of touring car racing, produced in 1990 as the ultimate evolution of the E30 M3 lineage. This highly detailed 3D model captures every defining feature of the Sport Evolution: the aggressive front chin spoiler, wide fender flares, BBS-style mesh wheels, large rear wing, dual exhaust tips, and a fully modeled interior with sport seats, period-correct dashboard, roll bar, and steering wheel. Two versions are included — one with open windows and one with glazed windows and light lenses — making it ideal for display models, dioramas, or scale RC bodyshell printing. The model is provided in STL format, ready for FDM or resin printing at your preferred scale.

Print settings

Resin printing is strongly recommended for the fine wheel mesh, interior details, and body panel lines. For FDM, orient the body shell upside-down to minimize supports on the roof and spoiler; use supports under the front splitter, rear wing, and side mirrors. A layer height of 0.1–0.15 mm and 20–30% infill are suitable for display use; increase infill to 40%+ for structural parts. PLA or ABS works well for the body; PETG is recommended for thin components like the antenna and spoiler mounts.
