Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 Project D STL 3D Print Model

The Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 Project D is the iconic Japanese rear-wheel-drive hatchback immortalized by the Initial D manga and anime series, here faithfully reproduced as a highly detailed 3D printable model. The model features a fully detailed exterior with characteristic pop-up headlight housing, period-correct Watanabe-style wheels, wide-body fender flares, and a race-prepared interior complete with roll cage, bucket seats, and detailed dashboard. Two versions are included: an open interior version for maximum detail visibility and a windowed/lights version for a cleaner closed appearance. Scaled for standard desktop FDM or resin printers, the files are delivered in STL format ready for slicing.

Print settings

FDM printing is recommended for the main body at 0.1–0.2 mm layer height with 20–30% infill; resin printing is ideal for fine interior and wheel details. Print the body shell upright or at a slight angle to minimize support scarring on the hood and roof surfaces. Supports are required under the bumper overhangs, door mirror arms, and roll cage elements. Use PLA or PETG for structural parts and standard resin for detail sub-assemblies.
