Description

The ZIL 131 is a Soviet 6×6 all-wheel-drive military cargo truck produced from 1966, widely used by the USSR armed forces and exported across the Eastern Bloc. This highly detailed multi-part 3D model features a fully modelled cab interior, detailed flatbed with drop sides, spare wheel mount, fuel tanks, tow hitch, and a complete undercarriage with chassis, axles and drivetrain components. Designed at 1:35 scale, it is suitable for both SLA resin printing and FDM printing, and is ideal for dioramas, tabletop wargaming, or scale model collections. The file is delivered as a ZIP archive containing STL files ready for slicing.

Print settings

SLA resin printing is strongly recommended to reproduce the fine surface detail on the cab, grille, flatbed hardware and undercarriage; FDM is viable for larger structural parts. Orient the cab and flatbed panels flat on the build plate to minimise layer lines on visible surfaces; small parts such as mirrors, handles and axle links should be printed vertically with light supports. Use 0.04–0.05 mm layer height for resin or 0.1–0.15 mm for FDM; 20–30% infill is sufficient for solid body panels. Post-cure resin parts thoroughly before assembly, and test-fit all joints dry before gluing.
