Description
The Cromwell Mk. IV is a British World War II medium cruiser tank developed by Nuffield Mechanization and Aero, here presented as a highly detailed 3D printable STL model. The model captures the iconic A27M hull, characteristic Christie suspension roadwheels, angled turret with QF 75mm gun, rear exhaust configuration, and full track assembly with exceptional accuracy. Available in 1:24 scale for display collecting and 1:16 scale for detailed modelling, it suits both static diorama builds and scale modelling enthusiasts. All geometry is provided in STL format ready for FDM or resin printing.
Print settings
Resin printing (MSLA/DLP) is strongly recommended for the finest detail on the track links, roadwheels, bolt heads, and antenna mast; FDM at 0.1 mm layer height is viable for larger scale (1:16) parts. Print the hull and turret separately in their flattest orientation to minimise supports; the gun barrel should be printed vertically or at 45° with light tree supports. Use 40–60% infill for structural parts (hull, turret base) and 20–30% for decorative panels. PETG or ABS is advised for FDM to reduce warping on large flat deck surfaces.
