Ponsse Bear Forestry Harvester 8×8 STL 3D Print Model

The Ponsse Bear is a high-capacity 8-wheel-drive wheeled forestry harvester featuring a long articulated harvesting crane with a delimbing and felling head, a rotating upper cab module, and a rugged articulated chassis designed for demanding terrain. This highly detailed 3D model captures every element of the machine including hydraulic hoses, the harvester head, cab interior, engine hood vents, and knobby forestry tires. Ideal for scale dioramas, tabletop wargaming, or display printing, the model is provided in STL format ready for FDM or resin printing. Two versions are included: a solid-cab version and a windowed/lights version for added realism.

Print settings

FDM printing is recommended for the main body and chassis using PLA or PETG with 20–30% infill; the harvester crane arm and head benefit from resin printing for finer detail. Print the crane boom, cab, and chassis as separate parts to minimize support requirements and improve surface quality. Supports are strongly recommended under the crane arm, hydraulic hose runs, and harvester head assembly. Orient large flat body panels face-down on the build plate for best adhesion and surface finish.
